Preamble

ICA Online is not meant to be a categorization, nor a bar neither a register with the ambition to have legal acknowledgement. No entrance examination is required, registration is opened to anyone wishing to be part of the project.

There are too many categorizations, bars, registers already !

ICA Online is a working-tool, a platform where to share experiences, to improve personal and professional knowledge and to support each other.

Whoever becomes a member must undergo an ongoing training on the field : the only exams to pass are daily customers' satisfaction.

Customers, as well as all members, are required to voice their own comments and suggestions, to the purpose of improving the level of service.

Day after day, the professional attitude you have will be appreciated by both customers and colleagues. Here, no need to take any examination (often for the sole purpose of being in a position to say “now I am able to do this or that...”), you become more “capable” every single day.

Professional Integrity

What we mean is intellectual integrity such as to accept only the tasks you know you are able to handle and for which you are liable. The customer entrusts you and you must be up to his expectations.

You will find colleagues available to help you out on the job, to improve its quality .Nobody is nobody's supervisor or employee, everyone has got qualities and credits, everybody is unique.

Commitment to share

The platform was born based upon a very clear concept and must remain an open source. In the end, the result must be bigger than the sum of the adding elements, therefore, commit yourself to share your experiences, to cooperate with your colleagues, to be your own judge and the judge of your teammates' performances. Personal growth must be constant and ongoing, it must reward your credits and cancel any unjustified privileges, to allow full respect towards everyone and anyone involved and towards the shared project. Respect in the workplace is not a gift, you must learn how to deserve it, with commitment and reliability, day after day.

Free-spirit

To be able to work autonomously is not a formal requirement, it is The Principle upon which the whole project lies..Sharing does not mean to blend into a scheme and it does not mean either to impose your own scheme. Please keep in mind that in front of the customers and the teammates, you will be liable, so be yourself and nobody will mistake you for who you are not, no matter what you are or dream of being. If this concept is unclear, then you are probably not fit for the job : at ICA, a strong personality is a must and the key to success.

Money is not the target but a means to be free

Request a fair payment directly related to what your work is worth. The shared commitment is to be understood this way as well : no-one should be underpaid, taken advantage of, or worse neglected. Work is a right but nobody is ready to grant it to you. If you deserve your right to work, demand the corresponding remuneration ; however please do not forget that freedom does not depend upon how much money you make but on how you make it.

If this does not sound like a good deal, then you are probably not the right person to become a member of ICA and you should go and look for a standard deal elsewhere.

Ethics and similar

If you have read this page down to this point, then needless to list things you probably already have in mind and know for a fact. May we only add that being intelligent and being smart/sly may not always be synonyms. Being smart/sly is not a crime but being intelligent entails mandatory ethical duties.

Do not do without them, and nobody will ever tell you that you are smart/sly, which after all is not much of a compliment, even if it may sound like it to smart/sly people only.
